Our Mission:

To support and introduce community safety initiatives to reduce crime and the fear of crime to make County           Durham and Darlington a safer place to live, work and invest.

Our Aims:

To safeguard people and property from crime.
To divert young people away from crime and anti-social behaviour.
To help support victims of crime and anti-social behaviour.

Our Methods:

To act as a catalyst to local action by managing and facilitating integrated crime prevention and community safety programmes across County Durham and Darlington.  The agency thinks globally but acts locally to bring the best current practice to the region.

Stimulate partnerships and networking.

Promote innovative approaches to crime prevention and community safety.

Fund, support and facilitate projects.
